I received my first committal to a book signing in the summer of 09! The date is TBA but I can tell you that the event will be held in Horicon (Brant Lake) NY, sponsored by the Horicon Historical Society. I am thrilled, and grateful, to have the opportunity to give a presentation in my ADK hometown of Brant Lake!
Now that I have the first "yes"(which I highlighted on my marketing log when I received the terrific news!), I am a bit nervous...I am not one to be at a loss for words generally, but now I must develop my format so that I am not one of those speakers that make the attendees want to pass out from the sheer exhaustion of listening to them drone on...and on....and on...
Since my book has quite a bit of humor throughout- and my mind has a bit humor within- I think I will travel the road of raw honesty. Most of the stories in my book will bring a chuckle so I hope my presentation will too.
